Teshome is determined to make architecture and design more accessible to those from a greater spectrum of backgrounds, and he coordinates workshops for young people with the aim of making the profession more approachable. As co-founder of Patch Collective, Teshome hosts public events as part of the London Festival of Architecture and Open City, exploring architecture through the lens of the diaspora. He studied at Manchester School of Architecture.

As an architectural designer, artist and writer, he is dedicated both to community initiatives and to making spaces which are equitable in their design.
